The Green Planet is like an oasis in the desert, bringing the incredible ecosystem of the South American Amazon rainforest to life. This vast glass biodome, located at City Walk, covers an area of around 60,000 square feet and houses over 3000 unique species of plants and animals. Developed by Meraas and operated by ZoOceanarium Group, the Green Planet boasts an elegant cylindrical shape, resembling a folded piece of origami paper. Every detail has been meticulously designed to recreate the rainforest environment authentically. The highlight is a towering 25-meter-high artificial Kapok-style tree, adorned with vines and figs, serving as a habitat for many exotic species. A captivating waterfall attached to the tree adds to the atmosphere, filling the air with a refreshing mist.

With its four levels—Flooded Rainforest, Forest Floor, the Midstory, and the Canopy—the biodome covers all aspects of the ecosystem.
